When someone tells me that they have their Holy Spirit inside, I always ask if they have made any changes. Because the first thing that I changed is in the Bible, but I had somehow missed it. It is Leviticus 5:1 " And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity."

I had stopped cursing and using swear words when I asked for forgiveness several years ago. Now, I know that God not only wants you, and me, to have a clean mouth, but also clean ears. I now check movies with IMDb.com. They will list all the unseemly words in the movie. And when I watch a newsclip, and a word slips in, I immediately ask God for forgiveness. I had the rule reinforced the next morning. I was wondering if it was okay to watch "Fear the Walking Dead" for the first six episodes. It was interesting to see how people reacted to first contact with the zombies. And I counted, only twice was the Lord's name taken in vain. My Holy Spirit was kinda quiet about it. Next morning I turned on the TV to watch the news. As I was walking past the TV, it sounded like a gunshot and the screen went black. First I looked for a bullethole in the screen, nope, looked over at the bedroom windows, they were fine. Then I noticed the digital clock was still on, and it shares an extension cord with the TV, so I bought a new TV. And I have never watched anything else that I know has curse words in it.

Remember the goal: being worthy of entry into Heaven. Nothing else matters.
